Over 60 tokenized stocks are now available on crypto exchanges Kraken and Bybit, as well as on Solana-based decentralized finance platforms. Backed Finance announced the launch of its xStocks product, which allows users to trade blue-chip stocks and crypto firms like Netflix, Meta, and Tesla via blockchain. The offering includes advantages such as 24/7 trading without commissions and DeFi support. Bybit claims its xStocks are compliant with the EU's MiFID II regulations and supports on-chain settlement. Kraken also promotes the ease of access and liquidity provided by xStocks. Furthermore, xStocks are integrated with Solana protocols like Kamino, Raydium, and Jupyter, allowing stocks to be used in DeFi applications. The total value locked in Solana's DeFi ecosystem is approximately $8.56 billion.
