Solana Ships Seeker Crypto Mobile Phone to Over 50 Countries
New crypto mobile device ships to 50+ countries with 150K orders and web3-first features

Solana Mobile has officially begun shipping its highly anticipated Seeker smartphone to customers in over 50 countries, marking a bold move to challenge centralized app ecosystems. The next-gen crypto-powered mobile device has already garnered over 150,000 pre-orders, positioning it as a major force in decentralized mobile technology.
Priced between $450 and $500, the Seeker could generate an estimated $67.5 million in revenue. Backed by Solana Labs, the phone improves on its predecessor, Saga, with advanced hardware and unique onchain features. One standout is the Seed Vault—a secure enclave that keeps private keys and seed phrases isolated from app layers, allowing safe interaction with decentralized applications.
Seeker’s focus is twofold: attract developers by offering an alternative to Apple and Google’s high-fee app stores, and empower crypto users with seamless access to NFTs, DeFi tools, and Web3 games—all without centralized gatekeepers.
Central to this strategy is TEEPIN, a decentralized three-layer security framework. It enables cryptographic attestation so the device can prove it’s running verified software. TEEPIN also decentralizes access, app distribution, and device validation, setting the stage for a truly Web3-native mobile ecosystem.
The launch follows a shifting regulatory landscape. Apple, long criticized for stifling crypto innovation through restrictive app store rules, lost a key antitrust case to Epic Games. The court ruling now allows crypto apps to link to external payment systems without incurring hefty fees—opening the door for Solana and others to thrive.
With the Seeker, Solana Mobile is not just releasing a new phone—it’s reshaping the future of mobile Web3. As centralized platforms tighten restrictions, this device could be the crypto world’s answer to true mobile freedom.
