Valour Debuts Bitcoin Staking ETP on LSE, Providing Investors With Annual Yield
Valour, a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies, has launched a bitcoin staking exchange-traded product (ETP) on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). This product, which is backed 1:1 by bitcoin held in custody with Copper, offers professional and institutional investors an annual yield of 1.4%. This marks an expansion from its initial trading debut in Germany nearly a year ago on the Deutsche Börse’s Xetra platform. The new ETP follows the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority's upcoming move to allow retail investors limited access to crypto exchange-traded notes. However, as it stands, only professional investors can participate in the London-listed ETP. Shares of DeFi Technologies witnessed a slight decline of 3.12% in early Nasdaq trading.
