Despite securing the licensing rights, Ramirez noted he has no interest in the capitalistic nature of the cryptocurrency space and has avoided engaging with it directly. Ramirez registered the Trollface copyright in 2011 and has previously earned substantial income from it. The deal is essential for TROLL to protect its brand, especially after other meme coins faced legal issues in the past due to copyright infringements.
