Trader Liquidated Eight Times In A Week
A trader known as Qwatio has faced an unfortunate week, being liquidated eight times and losing a total of $12.5 million. The last liquidation occurred on Monday involving a partial liquidation of an Ether position leveraged at 25X, with a liquidation price set at $2,534. Ether prices have fluctuated between $2,425 and $2,519 recently. Earlier in the week, Qwatio had already lost $10 million over six liquidations within three days. Interestingly, Qwatio previously achieved significant gains by trading Ether and Bitcoin with high leverage during a favorable market moment in March. In contrast, multimillionaire trader James Wynn has opened a small short position in Bitcoin, leveraging 40X, potentially allowing him a profit of $1.49 million. Wynn previously experienced massive losses in late May and earlier this month due to risky trades. Another less-known trader successfully transformed $6,800 into $1.5 million in profits, significantly contributing to a crypto exchange's liquidity over two weeks, showcasing the volatility and opportunity in the current crypto market.
