Standard Chartered has issued a bullish forecast for Bitcoin, predicting that the cryptocurrency will reach new heights of $135,000 by the end of Q3 2025, potentially exceeding $200,000 by year-end. The bank attributes this optimistic outlook to increasing corporate treasury buying and substantial inflows into exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Geoff Kendrick, head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered, noted that the Bitcoin halving cycle, which typically leads to price declines, may not have the same negative impact this time due to new supportive factors that were absent in previous cycles. He acknowledges the possibility of some price volatility in late Q3 and early Q4, but remains confident in a sustained bullish trend owing to strong investor interest, especially in ETFs and corporate treasury holdings.
