Spot Ether ETFs log $453M in inflows, extend streak to 16 days
Spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded significant inflows of $452.72 million, maintaining a 16-day streak of inflows, accumulating a total of $9.33 billion since their inception. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led with $440.10 million in inflows, bringing its total assets to $10.69 billion. While Bitwise's ETHW and Fidelity's FETH saw smaller gains, Grayscale’s ETHE experienced a substantial redemption of $23.49 million, totaling a $4.29 billion loss in cumulative outflows. The recent inflow trend supports growing investor interest in Ether, particularly as the demand for Ether-based financial products continues to rise, with projections estimating demand could reach $20 billion over the next year, far exceeding the expected supply due to network issuances. In comparison, spot Bitcoin ETFs added $130.69 million in inflows, leading to a cumulative total of $54.82 billion. July has been a volatile month for Bitcoin ETFs, but overall performance has seen several days of substantial inflows.
