Joseph Chalom, previously at BlackRock as head of digital assets strategy, has joined SharpLink Gaming as co-CEO. Chalom played a significant role in launching BlackRock's Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. He expressed strong belief in Ethereum's future as a foundation for global finance. With this transition, current SharpLink CEO Rob Phythian will shift to the role of president. SharpLink, which manages over 360,000 ETH worth more than $1.3 billion, recently acquired nearly 80,000 ETH as part of its strategy to enhance its treasury and plans to raise up to $6 billion for additional purchases. Sharplink's stock has seen a decline of over 6% in a single day and over 31% in the last five days.
