Chalom played a pivotal role in launching BlackRock's Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, focusing on institutional engagement with digital assets. He mentioned that SharpLink believes in Ethereum's potential to redefine global finance. Alongside Chalom's onboarding, current CEO Rob Phythian will transition to the role of president. SharpLink aims to leverage its ETH treasury strategy, utilizing Ethereum for yield-bearing activities as it holds over 360,000 ETH valued at around $1.3 billion. The firm's recent share price has dipped by more than 31% in the past week, highlighting market fluctuations.
