Chalom was instrumental in launching BlackRock’s Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs and aims to leverage his expertise in unlocking institutional adoption of digital assets at SharpLink. The firm believes that Ethereum will serve as a foundation for global finance and is committed to utilizing ETH as a productive asset through various yield-generating strategies. This move comes as SharpLink, which holds over 360,000 ETH valued at more than $1.3 billion, seeks to bolster its treasury and shareholder value. Despite this promising news, SharpLink's stock saw a drop of over 6% on the day of the announcement, reflecting market volatility in the broader crypto sector.
