Securitize, a regulated tokenization platform, has integrated Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin smart contract within its marketplace. This integration allows RLUSD to operate within BlackRock’s BUIDL and VanEck’s VBILL tokenized funds, contributing to interoperability in tokenized financial products. Securitize is a registered broker-dealer with the SEC and is a member of FINRA and SIPC, authorized to trade digital asset securities through its Alternative Trading System (ATS). The activation of Ripple’s RLUSD, which is backed by the dollar and was launched in 2025, signifies a move towards the practical use of blockchain-based cash equivalents in capital markets. BlackRock's BUIDL fund focuses on tokenizing short-term U.S. Treasury instruments, while VanEck’s VBILL targets Treasury bills, both providing yield exposure through blockchain infrastructure. This development highlights the increasing adoption of blockchain technology in traditional finance.
