US residents can claim $150 worth of WLD tokens as part of an airdrop, with iris-scanning Orbs established in major cities such as Atlanta, Austin, and Los Angeles. The initiative, driven by Tools for Humanity, aims to create verified identities to distinguish between real and AI accounts. The newly unveiled Orb Mini is designed to simplify iris scanning and may eventually function as a point-of-sale terminal. Users can currently use a World Visa card linked to their wallets for transactions. The latest update of the World app, version 4.0, introduces features like verified profiles and prediction markets. Partnerships are also in the works with companies like Razer to incorporate World ID badges in various platforms.
