Ripple and XRP News: BDACS Launches XRP Custody for Institutions in South Korea
BDACS has launched custody support for XRP, following a February partnership with Ripple. This move aligns with South Korea’s financial regulatory roadmap and aims to enhance institutional participation in the crypto market. The introduction of XRP custody on August 5, 2025, positions XRP as a key asset for institutional clients in South Korea, where it is already a widely traded cryptocurrency. BDACS also plans to support Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, using its Ripple Custody platform, designed for secure digital asset management. This collaboration is viewed as a significant step in fostering confidence and extending the use of XRP beyond Korean markets, particularly as research suggests a substantial growth in global crypto custody assets by 2030. BDACS emphasizes its commitment to providing compliant and secure custody services to bolster crypto initiatives within the evolving regulatory landscape.
