After initial hesitation, he and his agent, Rich Kleiman, invested in Bitcoin following discussions at a party. Due to losing account recovery details, including his password, Durant had been locked out, but the successful account recovery means his Bitcoin holdings have significantly increased in value over the years, now worth over 11,470% more than when he originally bought in. The incident has sparked conversations on social media, with other users expressing frustration over similar account access issues. Armstrong responded by acknowledging the need for improved customer support and solutions.
