Michael Saylor, the co-founder and executive chairman of Strategy, has seen his net worth rise by $1 billion, reaching an estimated $7.37 billion, following his inclusion in the Bloomberg Billionaire 500 Index. This represents a 15.80% increase since the beginning of the year, coinciding with a 12% rise in the stock price of Strategy (MSTR), which closed at $335.87 on Friday. Notably, Saylor's fortune comprises $650 million in cash and approximately $6.72 billion in Strategy equity. His significant investments in Bitcoin have positioned him alongside other cryptocurrency billionaires, including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao. Despite the recent stock advances, Strategy's shares have declined by 12.4% over the past 30 days. The firm, recognized for its Bitcoin accumulation strategy, holds about 659,739 BTC, amounting to roughly 3.42% of Bitcoin's circulating supply. Nonetheless, the company faced disappointment after being excluded from the S&P 500 in August, despite meeting the requirements for the Nasdaq 100.
