KuCoin has launched a new cloud mining platform named KuMining, aiming to control 10% of the Dogecoin network's mining capacity. This initiative allows retail and institutional investors to access verifiable hashrate supported by global mining facilities with substantial power resources. The platform will start with a hashrate of about 10 exahashes per second (EH/s) and 200 terahashes per second (TH/s) for Dogecoin and Litecoin, positioning KuMining as the fourth-largest Dogecoin mining entity. The goal is to decentralize hashrate from institutional control and provide transparent data management. Chief Operating Officer Jolie Du noted that the platform will enable users to rent genuine hashrate from professional facilities, offering daily yields while simplifying the technical complexities associated with hardware management. KuMining aims to enhance cryptocurrency mining opportunities by adding new water-cooled mining rigs and will allow users to begin purchasing hashrate on September 16.
