Hyperbeat Secures $5.2M Backing From ether.Fi, Electric Capital
Hyperbeat, a protocol supporting yield infrastructure for the Hyperliquid decentralized exchange, has successfully closed a $5.2 million oversubscribed seed funding round co-led by ether.fi Ventures and Electric Capital. The funds will help build out yield infrastructure for traders, protocols, and institutions within the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Other investors in this round included Coinbase Ventures and various community backers via the HyperCollective. Hyperbeat aims to provide a permissionless financial infrastructure, enabling users to earn, stake, and spend directly from their on-chain portfolios. Key offerings within the Hyperbeat ecosystem include liquid staking tokens, high-yield vaults, and a credit layer for borrowing against vault positions, among others. This funding comes as Hyperliquid reports surpassing $2.1 billion in total volume, indicating growing interest in its ecosystem. Avichal Garg from Electric Capital emphasized the blend of technical execution and community understanding in Hyperbeat's approach to expanding the financial toolbox for on-chain trading.
