High-leverage trader James Wynn opens 25x Ether long as ETH hits new high
High-leverage trader James Wynn has made headlines again by opening a substantial 25x long position on Ether as the price of ETH surpassed $4,860. He used about $5,568 in margin to control a position of 29.3 Ether, which is currently valued at $139,215 and showing unrealized gains of $14,888, a return of over 267%. In contrast, his 10x Dogecoin position is underperforming, showing a slight loss. Overall, Wynn's leveraged exposure totals $345,000, with a total equity around $26,600. Despite his previous significant losses leading to a hiatus from trading, Wynn’s recent activity coincides with Ethereum hitting its highest price since November 2021. Factors contributing to this ETH surge include indications from the Federal Reserve regarding an interest rate cut, as well as fresh inflows into Ethereum ETFs, which saw $287.6 million in net inflows recently, boosting their assets under management significantly. Corporate treasuries have also been buying, leading to a substantial rise in total corporate Ethereum reserves.
