Ethereum ETF Inflows Outpace Bitcoin ETFs for Fifth Straight Day
Ethereum ETFs have seen $3.4 billion in inflows over the past five days, significantly outpacing Bitcoin ETFs, which garnered $966 million during the same period. This marks a sustained trend where ETH ETFs have exceeded Bitcoin inflows for five consecutive days. The surge in Ethereum investment was fueled by corporate treasuries aggressively accumulating ETH, contributing to thinning supply on exchanges. Notable investments included BlackRock's ETHA, which attracted $520 million. Analysts highlight that Ethereum's utility, including smart contracts and staking opportunities, helps make it more appealing than Bitcoin. While experts anticipate continued institutional demand for ETH, they also caution about potential market corrections historically associated with September. They project that if this institutional trend continues, ETH could reach $10,000 in this cycle, driven by its broader applications and yield-producing features compared to Bitcoin.
