Dan Tapiero, a notable digital asset investor, has rebranded his private equity firms 10T Holdings and 1RoundTable Partners into a new entity called 50T, predicting that the digital asset market will grow to a value of $50 trillion within the next decade. This forecast marks a significant upward adjustment from his earlier estimate of $10 trillion, based on the impressive performances of firms like Circle and Coinbase. Recently, Circle's IPO saw its stock price skyrocket nearly tenfold, while Coinbase's acquisition of Deribit for $2.9 billion indicates the sector's maturation. Tapiero stated that the digital asset market is already estimated to be around $5 trillion, surpassing initial expectations. Alongside the rebranding, 50T is launching a $500 million growth equity fund aimed at supporting later-stage blockchain and Web3 companies, with its first close anticipated in Q4 2025.
