Crypto funds post record $4.4B inflows as Ether ETPs break 2024 gains
Crypto funds saw unprecedented inflows last week, totaling $4.4 billion, marking 14 consecutive weeks of gains. Bitcoin's value surged past $122,000, settling at around $120,000 by the week's end. The year-to-date inflows in crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) have now reached $27 billion, with total assets under management surpassing $220 billion for the first time. Ether ETPs outperformed previous totals, with inflows hitting $6.2 billion, and weekly inflows doubled to a record $2.12 billion. This surge coincided with Ethereum's price crossing $3,500. Meanwhile, Bitcoin ETP inflows amounted to $2.2 billion, representing half of the total crypto ETP inflows. Other notable assets like Solana, XRP, and Sui also attracted significant inflows, indicating robust investor interest in the cryptocurrency market.
