Ether-stacking firm BitMine has crossed the $3 billion mark in ETH holdings following a significant purchase of 208,137 ETH, which brings its total to 833,137 ETH. This acquisition coincides with a nearly 6% rally in Ether's price, which peaked at $3,730 before settling at $3,654. BitMine, chaired by Tom Lee, is now the fourth-largest crypto treasury firm globally, solidifying its position as a major player in the Ethereum accumulation race. SharpLink Gaming follows with over 438,200 ETH, and another firm holds 345,400 ETH. Lee remains optimistic about the market, predicting that institutional interest and easing monetary policies could lead to a strong rally in August. He highlights the strong correlation between crypto markets and traditional equity markets, suggesting that a positive trend in the S&P 500 could further elevate Ether's value.
