Bitcoin miner BitFuFu mines 445 BTC for its biggest production month
Singapore-based cloud Bitcoin miner BitFuFu has reported its most significant production month of the year, mining 445 Bitcoin in June 2025. This marks an 11.3% increase from the previous month, with the majority of the production (387 Bitcoin) sourced from cloud mining. Chairperson and CEO Leo Lu attributed this success to the continuous expansion of their mining fleet. The company aims to procure up to 80,000 Bitcoin miners. Currently, BitFuFu holds 1,792 Bitcoin, valued over $193 million. The firm’s hashrate also rose by 6.2% to 36.2 EH/s, supported by increased power capacity of 728 megawatts across five continents. BitFuFu shares saw a slight increase of 1.16%, closing at $3.48. In contrast, other Bitcoin mining firms faced challenges, such as Riot Platforms reporting a 12% decline in production due to power curtailment. Despite these issues, Australian-based miner IREN achieved record revenues and production levels in June. CleanSpark also saw a significant increase in hashrate and Bitcoin mined compared to the previous year.
