Bitcoin (BTC) News: Crypto Interest Trails AI and Humanoids Among Future Finance Leaders, Morgan Stanley Intern Survey Shows
A recent Morgan Stanley survey highlights that Bitcoin's surge past $100,000 hasn’t translated to widespread interest in cryptocurrencies among interns, as only 18% reported owning or using them, an increase from 13% the previous year. The survey, conducted with over 500 interns in North America and 147 in Europe, revealed 55% remain uninterested in digital assets, despite the introduction of Bitcoin ETFs amassing $53.7 billion. In contrast, 96% of U.S. interns and 91% of European interns reported using AI tools, which many found effective yet needing accuracy improvements. The survey also indicated significant interest in humanoid robots, with about 60% of U.S. interns expressing a desire to own one, although concerns about societal impacts persist. Morgan Stanley estimates the humanoid market could exceed $5 trillion by 2050, underscoring the juxtaposition between traditional financial interests and emerging technologies.
