Binance Teams With Franklin Templeton for Crypto Product Push
Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, and Franklin Templeton, a major asset manager with over $1.6 trillion in assets, are collaborating to create new digital asset products aimed at a wide array of investors. The specifics of these products remain undisclosed; however, both entities promise further announcements later this year. Roger Bayston, EVP and Head of Digital Assets at Franklin Templeton, emphasized the need for accessible and reliable digital asset products in response to investor demand. Binance highlighted that this partnership intends to leverage Franklin Templeton's expertise in compliant tokenization alongside its robust trading infrastructure to enhance capital market efficiency and accessibility. Franklin Templeton has previously made strides in the digital realm, including launching Bitcoin and Ethereum funds that drew significant investments. Their past efforts in blockchain began as early as 2018, showcasing a progressive approach toward integrating digital assets into traditional finance.
