Binance Pay has collaborated with French fintech Lyzi to facilitate cryptocurrency payments for over 80 businesses in the French Riviera, covering regions such as Cannes, Nice, Antibes, and Monaco. This initiative will allow both locals and tourists to make payments in various cryptocurrencies at hotels, restaurants, luxury retailers, and other service providers by simply scanning a QR code. Binance Pay supports more than 100 cryptocurrencies and provides security features like encrypted transfers and two-factor authentication. Cannes' Mayor David Lisnard has advocated for crypto adoption, encouraging local businesses to integrate cryptocurrency payments alongside euros. Prominent establishments like the JW Marriott and Palais Stéphanie Beach are already accepting crypto payments. A promotional campaign is also in place, offering shoppers rewards in euro-pegged stablecoins for eligible purchases until the end of the week.
