Trust Wallet, owned by Binance, has introduced support for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) including stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on Ethereum and Solana in collaboration with Ondo Finance and 1inch. This integration aims to make global finance more accessible and transparent. Trust Wallet’s CEO emphasized the importance of self-custody in enabling users to manage assets independently. The collaboration sees Ondo providing the RWAs, while 1inch enhances liquidity and pricing for efficient swaps. However, RWA tokens are limited to specific regions and are only available during US market hours. The launch positions Trust Wallet as a pioneering platform in combining self-custody with tokenized assets, allowing users to access traditionally gated assets like stocks or ETFs through their wallets.
