Tigran Gambaryan, head of financial crime compliance at Binance, announced his departure from the company after four years. His resignation comes just months after he was detained by Nigerian authorities for eight months in connection with investigations into illicit finance during his tenure at Binance. Gambaryan stated that he is seeking new challenges in either the public or private sector, particularly in technology compliance. During his time at Binance, he established a team of around 100 former law enforcement officials to align the company more closely with global regulatory standards. His exit follows a trend of executive departures from Binance, which has faced scrutiny from regulators and legal challenges in the past few years.
