ARK Invest has taken advantage of a stock market dip by increasing its investments in Coinbase and BitMine Immersion Technologies. The firm acquired approximately $30 million in Coinbase shares, adding 94,678 shares across three of its ETFs, as Coinbase experienced a significant 16.7% drop, closing at $314.69. This marks Coinbase's worst daily performance in recent months. Additionally, ARK Invest invested around $17 million in BitMine, purchasing 540,712 shares. This followed a prior investment of over $20 million in BitMine shares earlier in the week. The rise in ARK's investment comes amid a broader market decline, influenced by disappointing economic news, including a slowdown in job creation, with only 73,000 jobs added in July, putting pressure on bank stocks and other sectors during a rough start to August.
